Counseling Central Austin offers individual counseling for adults (18+). Counseling can be focused on either general mental health, career counseling, or both.
While some clients may have a clear sense for what areas they want to focus on, the majority of clients will combine psychotherapy and career counseling in a personalized way that works best for them to achieve their desired life goals.
Individual Psychotherapy:
(General Mental Health)
Gabrielle's approach as a therapist is to collaboratively explore your thoughts, beliefs and life experiences to help you gain greater self-knowledge and enable you to live a more satisfying life. She will work to get to know you, and together you will explore the origins of any issues and negative symptoms, and delve into what works best for you in order for you to achieve your goals. Gabrielle's method of working involves understanding and empowering a person as a whole, by learning the inner workings of one’s thoughts and beliefs, and how those beliefs create the pervasive patterns that get in the way of contentment and experiencing life to the fullest.
Whether you are in the midst of a life struggle that you are trying to navigate or not necessarily in crisis but looking to improve your general quality of life and well-being, Gabrielle believes that psychotherapy will help you live a more authentic and conscious life and have a deeper connection to yourself and others.
